According to TV Guide magazine, will.i.am will join Britney Spears as a mentor for her crop of contestants during the Judge’s Home round on the upcoming second season of reality singing competition X-Factor, which will be premiered today on FOX.
Fox has yet to confirm how the contestants will be split amongst the four judges, but it is rumored that Demi Lovato (her mentor will be Nick Jonas) will coach kids ages 12-16, Britney Spears will oversee singers ages 17-24, L.A. Reid (mentor Justin Bieber) will guide vocalists 25 and older, and Simon Cowell (mentor Marc Antony) will be left to tackle the groups.
