Rihanna's past singles were so much better. I like Pon De Replay, If It's Lovin' That You Want, and S.O.S. Unfaithful and We Ride are piles of crap. Break It Off is good if you ignore the fact that Sean Paul is doing all the work. If she releases better singles, I'll like her.

Same goes for Madonna. I've heard her older music and they're all better than her newer ones and they fit well with her voice, which I'm not feeling that much.

Akon has got less boring with better singles.
Eminem needs better singles.
I know that Christina will stick with the B2B vibe for a while, but after B2B, I hope she releases some stuff similar to her earlier works.
I still like Britney as an artist, but she's killing me here with all her problems.
Shakira's 2001-2002 singles and La Tortura are better than the ones she's releasing now.
Most of Beyonce's singles are really great. The only ones that I'm not feeling are Irreplaceable and BL.
Fergie's Glamorous is genius and London Bridge is growing back on me, but Fergalicious made me miss Black Eyed Peas a lot.
I personally liked both The Game and 50 Cent better when they were friends.
Kelly Clarkson's singles are all the same. Her singles from Thankful were great, though.

I'd throw Britney Spears into the getting worse side after hearing a couple leaked abortions (Rebellion, Mona Lisa) a year or two ago that kind of insulted her previous works. - (My Prerogative, Someday, etc.)
Then I'm still very tempted to say Avril has been getting bad after hearing/seeing Girlfriend.
As for Hip-Hop/Rap, 50 Cent has been going downhill. (w/ or w/o The Game) And the man's unraised attitude only increases the momentum of his downward roll.
Then Pearl Jam is no longer or I always keep forgetting about them...while R.Kelly, who was responsible for "I believe I can fly" is pretty much a never-ending disaster.
Finally, it's sad, but after hearing album #2, Lillix overall in a couple standpoints has gotten worse. The first CD was way better.

As for who's gotten better:
I know The All American Rejects have done a lot of cool with their current album, especially with all their singles.
I think Sean Paul has fully redeemed himself with me after hearing the Trinity.
I think the Red Hot Chili Peppers might be experiencing their biggest peak yet with Stadium Arcadium.
And finally (or at least for this post), I think Beyonce is making her largest peak yet in her music career with a few potential hit singles from my view.

For Madonna, I never really followed her past music, so yea...

Britney Spears has been getting to the worse side in "behaviour", I think, since all the hypes and problems around her. But in music aspect, she's doing OK. I still do LOVE HER.
Then Avril is getting wrose, I know her songs are catchy and stuffs, but no in quality.
I also think The Killers are also getting worse, I dont know but seems like they lost their "shine".

Kelly Clarkson and Ashlee Simpon are getting better I think, they keep on making great music as well.
