A lot of you might be wondering why Kelly's records weren't certified yet. I actually asked someone from Sony Music about that - and that person told me that they won't be able to certify them unless the recording artist herself insisted. That person also said that Columbia, Epic, Sony Nashville might be the only ones to be able to certify their artists without the artist insisting as they have few artists compared to RCA. In that case, Carrie might find it easier for her records to be certified.

Certification also differs worldwide such as in - Sony Music UK, which is restructuring so their artists (Kelly, One Direction) might not be certified in UK right now. Sony Music Finland, however, is now waiting for "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" to sell 1000 copies for a Gold certification. Anyway, things could change it mainly depends on the recording artist himself. Here are the artists who insisted - Train, Whitney Houston, Pitbull, JLo, Shakira, Bruce Springsteen, and Usher. (Adele is mainly a XL artist so she is excluded).

You're welcome. It's a good thing Adele is an XL (the recording company, not the size) artist, she's their biggest star right now and they're really pushing all her certifications. Kelly used to have that during her Breakaway era. Anyway. I really can't promise to post here frequently, but I'll try my best. Sony Music is really strict in releasing inside information. But when I receive an update I'll post it here in an instant.
