Out of all the dominant pop girls does Gaga's sound stand out ? As critics point out Gaga's music , especially on Born This Way , really differs than what is occupying currently radio and the charts , but do you agree ?

Yes. Ever since 2008, whatever the trend in music is, Gaga has a way of appropriating it the best and making it stand out from the rest of the pop sound.

When Just Dance & Poker Face came out, they sounded like nothing on pop radio. Then the rest of the industry caught up and started churning out JD/PF clones by the dozens. Then she took her sound a step further with Bad Romance and TFM, which the industry also caught up to. But she really put herself in the outfield with BTW, which is so far out of the mainstream and what everyone else is doing right now.
