Worst: Busch Gardens, in the ice cream shop.

Best: Target, cashier and guest services.

I lasted a month at Busch and have made it three months in Target so far.

I gotta say, people are so disrespectful to people in service jobs. Fast food, waiters, cashiers... like, we are helping you out, why are you gonna be so rude to us? Sometimes there are problems but there is rarely something I can do about it. "That was supposed to be $5.99, not $6.48"... first of all, really? second of all, I don't decide how much to charge you. It's a computer system that is much more accurate than your poor ass eyesight.

I am so nice to everyone who serves me, be it a fast food person or a cashier... just because I know the next person they get in line is probably gonna be a huge dick that ruins their day.

I work at target also!!

I use to work at Target, but got fired. Target and Walmart are two different worlds I think people treat service people like because they know they can, and they know the worker has to be nice. If a worker gets rude back, then the customer can go straight to the manager, so the customer kind of has power over employees

Worst: Retirement home serving food. Those old ass racists talked to me like a was a damn slave. I didn't come back after I finished that first week.



Best: My current job as an AT&T representative. It pays really well and all I do is talk on the phone to customers. Sometimes I have a mean customer but for the most part I'm doing nothing, while on a computer.

Yeah, I totally agree... I'm always so nice even if they're rude But one time someone made a fuss about me not bagging her cat food correctly, and like my supervisor knew it was BS so all she did when the customer finally left was say "Better get used to that kind of ****."

So you've worked at both? What kinds of things are different? I was gonna apply to both because they're right across the street from each other but the Wal-Mart is so dirty here...

When customers are rude to me, I put on fake smile, and apologize, but really Im like "I really don't give a ****." Like its not gonna hurt my feelings if you get rude with me, Im not gonna cry over it.


Im not saying every Walmart is like this, but from random people I would always hear that Walmart employees are not very helpful, and you can never find any help. At my store I couldn't even get any help, and I was an employee. Most employee stay to themselves and really don't want to help anyone. When I worked at Target, the employees were so cheerful and happy, and greeted every customer,willing to help anyone out. Theres a joke that you have to dress up to go to Target, and Walmart you can wear whatever. And Target is ****ing strict as ****, Walmart you can get away with a lot more stuff too.
