the britpop is great again (mostly at least) and the timing to hit the US market is perfect, cause most american pop music is stagnating in creativity right now...

amy winehouse is great, she feels like the real deal and very AC!!....rehab is close to a modern classic, and comparisons to christina´s "back to basics" are unescapable, mostly b/c of the cool titles!...but i don´t really think they could be compared, the style is very different on the albums...both are great

Go Google "amy winehouse soulful mature" and you will see why I classify her as that. Because that is what she is; it's not even an opinion. Her music is neo-soul and her lyrics are mature in that they are about real life, and not poppy love songs. Alicia Keys can be almost be grouped into the same category as Winehouse.
