I think it's fair, because it's a pop music forum. Music is meant for sales. No matter what way you look at it, the artist who have stans here are signed to major labels who put lots of money into their projects, and I doubt any artist puts out a catchy generic single that flops for fun. These artists don't use the same producers and writers on accident, the music sounds similar for a reason.

That being said, I never go in the charts section or have used receipts. I personally don't care or know how much anyone I listen to has sold.

The same people talking people's children and how ugly them/their spouse are when the talent can't be denied?

I dont understand how you can tell me that musicians with 10 and 20 years of experience, are failures because their sales are low, or an record underperforms lol. I honestly dont care for all of that much, music's first with me.

I joined here to get news about artists I like + discover new artists. I didn't come here for the stan wars, the "receipts", charts, etc... I only care about the charts if they influence the career of the artist/band too much. If an albums or all the singles flop(s), I'm always a bit afraid that

a) the album is not going to be released, because of the unsuccesful singles (ex. Skylar Grey)
b) if the last album flopped, the band/artist takes a break or goes on a hiatus (ex. Fall Out Boy)

It's the only objective way to classify an album

artist with phenomenal voices (Adele, Michael Buble, Beyonce, Enya, etc) are called "lazy", or "ugly', or "boring"

I could care less. It's all about the music for me. If the music is good, then I'm going to support it no matter if it succeeds or flops. I like mainstream artists and underground artists. I think people go a bit overboard with that. I hate it when some people stop supporting an artist just because their album or single flopped. That's stupid. You are not stanning for that artist, you are just stanning for success.
