The VMA's already sucked with Gaga, and they sucked without her. She doesn't really matter to me that much tbh. The awards are already dead anyway, MTV is dead. These kinds of award shows are full of people trying to hard and it's ****ing annoying, I can't see all these ****** party rappers and bubblegum dance pop acts anymore. (Btw, I am NOT referring to Gaga, I actually think she has talent). But it's not like Gaga could completely revive that show. If they really cared about their show, they should only invite people with real talent, maybe that would make it more exciting. Rant over.
The VMA's is always a big event, so it will still be entertaining and what happens during the show will make waves in pop culture. That being said, love her or hate her, Gaga has been a big part of the VMA's the last two or three years and she is known for her blockbuster entertainment value and ability to bring in ratings. I'm sort of happy she's not attending this year to be honest; I think people will wonder what she's up to and will maybe even miss her and that's exactly what she needs for this upcoming era.
