I've always been a Kingston user for the longest time, but I hate them because they're so slow. I only get them because they're so cheap. But now that speed matters, I bought a different one.


I LOVE this usb key. I bought it today for only 27 dollars, was on sale. It's USB 3.0, and it's FAST. I just tried it on my USB 2.0 ports and the speed was amazing - I got 12-18MB/sec write speed. I haven't tried it in a 3.0 slot yet, but I'm sure the speed will double, triple, or even quadruple.

The only problem that I've heard from people is that the srping that holds the usb when it's being used can break easily so I must be careful with it.

I just have a 8GB micro SD card with a tiny USB reader stick thing that I got free with my old Blackberry a few years ago. But the card and reader went through the washer, and the reader barely works so I just use a standard SD card reader instead now

Idk what the speed is but I don't care, I don't use it often unless I'm watching a movie on my PS3 or something and the speeds are fine. A movie is copied over in a few minutes.

Kingston 8gb and SanDisk 2gb.

Imation 4 gb.

We have 2 External HDD at home tho. But I broke the 160 GB one. It has tons of movies.

2, 16GB SanDisk. One for school, one or music.
Then a 32 GB SanDisk for personal use.
