It was one of the top stories today, March 20th. I think that's awful because they're saying in the article that they tape two shows each on Mon. and Wed. to cut costs and that they're not editing anything, but if you think about it then that means that they would have to know where the videos would be on the countdown each day... which seems to mean, to me at least that all the voting we do doesn't seem to do much good if the only live shows are the ones on Mon. and Wed. Read the article if I'm not making sense... but it really is sad how they've handled the show.
yeah it makes absolutely no sense since they don't know what the votes are for Tuesday until it's actually Tuesday, so clearly they're not counting votes

TRL has been going downward due to a few/several factors which have been expressed throughout this site. (Some of which are not coming from a subjective standpoint.)
As for the votes, I don't think they're delivered in a timely fashion. You may place a vote on Monday and it may not be taken in until Wednesday's show. (Unlike the respectable days when the votes were tallied directly for the next day's show.) Yet, there is proof that the votes are rigged...

TRL won't be cancel, like it or not, it's a staple of MTV, and the only music show people actually watch besides maybe suckerfree, or people who can, the big ten
Well, its fine that they tape 1/2 the shows who cares?
Yeah who cares that they falsify the votes for half the shows? Not to mention that makes me wonder if they EVER go by the votes? So it's not Total Request, and it's not live, so I guess they should change the name completely...
