Crystal Castles are an electronic/experimental band formed in 2004 in Toronto, Ontario consisting of producer Ethan Kath and lyricist and vocalist Alice Glass. Crystal Castles are known for their chaotic live shows and their lo-fi melancholic homemade productions. The duo released many limited vinyl EPs between 2006 and 2007, and two eponymous albums in 2008 and 2010 to widespread critical acclaim. Their debut album was included in NME's "Top 100 Greatest Albums of the Decade" list at No. 39.
I love them! They're my favourite electronic act. Magic Spells is an amazing track and both of their albums are really good. Can't wait for CC (III), a few tracks from the album should be leaking soon! Excited.
Probably Kerosene. They haven't come up on my Best of 2012 yet, they're pretty high, but I chose my favourite four as Kerosene, Child I Will Hurt You, Affection, Insulin. Plague comes in close on those though.
