Do you guys here have this flawless tablet? It's so good, lagless and powerful has a four core CPU and a 12 core GPU, and all for $200(£159) for the 8GB and $249(£200) for the 16GB.
It's a steal tbh

Uh...why? The Nexus can literally do EVERYTHING the Fire can and more. The Fire is just running a locked/limited version of Android. I used to have a Nook, and I love being able to have the Nook AND Kindle apps on one tablet, so I can just buy the cheaper version of an eBook.
I LOVE my Nexus 7. I really wanted it, but I didn't even realize how much I'd love it. It's the perfect size to carry around campus in its case like a book or a clutch purse, and I love being able to take it anywhere in my apartment and keep browsing the web or watching a video.
My only problem with it is that my touch screen gets kinda grumpy/unresponsive sometimes and I'll have to turn it off and back on again. It's clearly a software problem, not a hardware problem and I've seen its fairly common so hopefully Google or Asus push an update soon.

Sis, it's probably that My Library widget, get rid of it because sometimes it loses connection to the Google servers, it's so flawless, everybody at College(6th form) keeps asking where to get one because it does everything, looks cool, is light and has a great screen

I'm getting one next week! I needed a tablet, and everyone was talking about how flawless it was, so I figured that's the one.

I already have a smartphone (SGS3) and a laptop, a tablet would be useless

I deleted that widget. It's gotten better since I stopped leaving songza running in the background. Maybe it's because I have a calender and tasks and weather widget on my homepage but I don't care because my homepage is classy as ****:
It matches my purple case too.
I used to be one of those people who was like "oh I have a smartphone and laptop it's pointless," but my laptop is basically my desktop now because it's where I do all my music production. I don't like carrying it around the apartment or campus because it's just too valuable and bulky/heavy. It's nice to have something compact just for casually browsing the internet, or reading a book, or watching a TV show.

Pffft I have both, the Nexus 7 ***** effortlessly on it in the portability and customisability area
But the screen on the new iPad is slightly better, but is heavy and considerably more $$$, why spend £400 for something you can get for £200

It makes me so mad that you pay $600 for an iPad and you're stuck with a basic ass grid of apps. Like, what?
It's so funny that the $200 one is more like a small computer and the $600 one is more like a big phone.

But the Nexus 7 is just 2.2 inch bigger than my smartphone, who can do all those things
I'll wait for the Nexus 10

I just like the whole Amazon ecosystem. It's the best out of all of the Google-related ecosystems. I wouldnt buy any of them now but I like the direction Amazon is going with the new announcements today into making themselves a whole new company basically. Since yall are so obsessed with specs here too (although Im not), they also announced that "powering the device is a Texas Instruments OMAP 4470 processor which should outperform the quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 with less power drain." The Kindle Fire will probably outsell the Nexus 7 since the Kindle brand is already more known because of what Amazon has done previously, so yeah. I think Bezos might be able to take Amazon to where it can go and possibly dominate the Google tablet arena.
