Melinda Doolitte
--She reminds me of a less visually appealing, vocally enhanced
Vonzell Solomon because her personality (she's so humble ^_^) and singing ability pretty much make her stand out as a individual, not to mention she's a fan faovrite?
Phil Stacey
--He reminds me of a weirder, knock off of
Chris Daughtry (based on image) BUT he actually reminds me of a phedophile. He creeps me out
LaKisha Jones
--She reminds me a bit of
Kimberly Locke for some reason, no reference to the size of them. Kimberly was a great vocalist but was REALLY predictable and stayed in one lane ALMOST the entire competition until I'd say the Top 7. LaKisha so far has done the same, but hopefully can show some versatility, because we already has established that she's a great vocalist.. Both are AMAZING voalists though.
Chris Sligh
--He reminds me of a WAY better
Matt Rogers in dire need of a hairstylist. He bores me like Matt too. I wouldn't really mind him leaving early at
all.
Jordin Sparks
--She reminds me of
Diana DeGarmo because she will get a Fre eRide to the Top 5 due to the Top 12 being such weak on talent (sans Melinda, Jordin, LaKisha, Blake, and Brandon, who's probably the most inconsistent one of the five i listed). Also, she's young, and has a great voice for someone her age. She's really also bubbly (but not to a point where it's sickening and annoying like Diana's was.)
Sanjaya Malakar
He reminds me of
John Stevens because both were outclassed during their seasons and it was obvious that they knew it. Both should NOT have made the Top 12, but have irritating fan bases that have proven that they are united and will keep them around, no matter HOW bad they suck.
Haley Scarnato
--She reminds me of
Lindsey Cardinale (from Season 4) because she should NOT have made the Top 12 over someone more talented (Sabrina Sloan) like Lindsey did (Amanda Avila), and i the least memorable contestant in the Top 12.
Brandon Rogers
--He reminds me
Nikko Smith; both have a lot of talent, but are inconsistent.
Stephanie Edwards
--She also reminds me of
Vonzell Solomon ONLY due to the similar tone and range of their voices. Unfortunately, Stephanie isn't really memorable like some of the other females (namely Melinda, LaKisha, and Jordin), but like Vonzell (who wasn't a front-runner until the top 11/10, she has a lot of room to improve.She's also the best looking contestant this season.
Chris Richardson
--He reminds me of
Corey Clark because his speaking voice irritates the **** out of me and the vocals aren't cutting it either.
Gina Glockson
--She reminds me of
Nikki McKibbon SOLELY due to her image. Nikki tried to stand out and did great (by being different, and being horrible.) Gina is the second weakest girl in the competition (but is MILES ahead of Nikki in talent, but then again; who isn't?), and hopefully won't go any farther than the Top 10.
Blake Lewis
--He reminds me of
Ace Young because he's trying TOO HARD to fit in, and like Ace, Blake is very creative and uses his input (usually too much0 with a song's arrangement, and isn't really a vocal masterpiece (like most of the males this season.) I don't se eBlake getting any farther than the Top 5 because of the girls this season.
