Maybe I'm too nice?
But then I remember me getting 2 wp's for that stupid Adam Lambert comment in SYG, I feel like there's too much bias on this site.

NHB is about being confrontational issues/arguments. We want the rest of the forum to be free of the stuff that is allowed in NHB. NHB is the place where you can say more things than you can't in regular threads, to some degree, which is why off-topic/mindless banter is annoying.

I remember once a mod said that insults to celebrities are handled far more leniently than insults to members, presumably because they're less personal. So why is it that you can get warned for posting a picture of Rihanna's incident in SYG, but not for some of the blatant racist/hateful generalizations that were said today in NHB?
Not personally offended necessarily... but that seems really off.

I am guessing because insulting/being hateful is different from bringing up actual events of such crimes? I mean, saying "man, i'll beat you up!" versus showing a picture of a person battered, the latter is worse, in my opinion. I don't know though, since it really depends on each case and member (posting).

Yep, in the past and some even now.

NHB shouldn't be closed.
I mean if members get into disagreements where will they go now to settle it? I mean now it's a greater risk of warning points, right?

Just PM each other? Post on walls? Get over it?

Do people really not have enough control to NOT attack in a thread, or go off-topic? -_-

Such as? It may say Members Only but that's a misnomer. We only have blogs restricted to members. Everything else is public domain (not including PMs). Wall posts are public to mods but can be restricted to contacts
