Ooo and we bet the album will be as soothing as snowfall on a winter's eve!
Singer Christina Perri, who is currently making musical waves on Jason Mraz's Tour is a Four Letter Word tour, is planning to release an eclectic, 6 track holiday EP called It's A Very Merry Perri Christmas!
Apparently, Mz. Perri has dreamed of making a Christmas album for agessss, and is thrilled she is finally in the position to make one.
Christina shares:
"I've wanted to make A Very Merry Perri Christmas my whole life. Christmas is so big in my family, and I’ve been singing these songs since I was three years old. This EP is a collection of my all-time favorite Christmas songs, plus one original, Something About December, which my brother and I wrote about finding Christmas wherever you are in the world, because it lives in your heart."
Toooooo cute!
We can't wait to hear this original jam! It already sounds sweet as peppermint flavored taffy.
AND it seems Perri has some visitors to her rockin' holiday party! The EP features guest collabs with Michelle Branch, LP, Bushwalla, and Boys Like Girls’ Martin Johnson!
It's A Very Merry Perri Christmas is due out October 16th… souped like a warm, winter stew!
