They do, Want U Back sold more than GYHAB, and it's still selling more than it
Do you still think GYHAB can reach 2x platinum in the next eight weeks, even Want U Back is closer to that

I clocked you that good that you waited 2 months to bump this old ass thread? Oh my.
Congrats to Cher for selling more...now let's just recapitulate the thread:

But I thought only the sales matter, not peaks? GYHAB peaked at #13 on iTunes but it went platinum and will most likely go 2x Platinum by the end of the year, so by your logic, people do want GYHAB. You tried hottie.

What I was arguing back then was the fact that you said people were not here for GYHAB just because it was lower than WUB on iTunes,
I wasn't arguing about who do people care more or which song was going to sell more.
, I even replied that to

You didn't get my point at all, I'm just saying people DO care about GYHAB, how high does the song goes on iTunes is not as important as the sells, and clearly both girls are doing just fine even tho the difference on radio and peak position.
|
So yes, people
do and still care about GYHAB and Demi no matter if WUB outsells it, 9 months after the official release and GYHAB is
still on the top 150 of iTunes,
And fyi, I'm not surprised WUB is outselling GYHAB:

Plus Cher is a fresh new face with a great catchy song, Demi is an ex disney star, of course people will be more interested on buying Want U Back more than GYHAB, that's why Demi needs all the promo...
