Kelly's lower register is far more developed now than it was during her idol days and her upper range is far more consistent than in her Breakaway days, when the notes tended to sound thin. Don't talk about things you know nothing about.
The texture of her voice has changed too, she sounds a bit huskier, meatier. But she still retains the same clarity she had during the Idol days, this is evidenced in any performance of "Don't You Wanna Stay".
Her voice has only gotten better since those days, she just doesn't show off as much with unnecessary runs, which is why Christina fans are saying she's no good.
