Kelly on CMA Female Vocalist category is more legit than Taylor being in it lately. Aside Kelly can get into country more than Taylor who is very pop

she sings better than her.

Among the nominees it's Taylor who doesn't fit the mold.

Strong vocals and country style.

Kelly a strong vocalist and has a song which she countrified seems better than Tay whose song is like an acoustic version of Carly Rae Jepsen

If you're talking about WANEGBT that doesn't make the eligibility period so mentioning it for this CMAs is irrelevant. And have you heard Ours & Mean? Two very country songs put out by Tay in the past year or so.

why would I talk about her latest song it isnt even out for a month or that long

talking even with her old songs. it sounds very pop to be honest.

But with her fame, I dont think they will just snub her like that since she brought back country in the mainstream charts because of her songs that are very pop. Everyone knows that.

Lol then why did you say her song is an acoustic version of Carly Rae Jepsen? WANEGBT is the only one that would somewhat fit that comparison

And I wouldn't call her songs very pop, most of them are country with pop influence. I would say the only very pop song she released during the Speak Now era is the Story of Flop

Kelly for country vocalist? I think she's a great singer but this says more about the state of country radio, where only three women get steady airplay, than anything else.

Was Scotty McCreery snubbed for Best New Artist? I didn't think he had a chance to win but figured he would get nominated at least. There seems to be a long eligibility period for being a "new artist" so he might get in next year though I'm not totally sure, I think the industry just doesn't like him that much.
