I'm really hoping this forthcoming album will be her redemption.
Although I thought the Born This Way album itself was a relatively good pop album, the era was quite messy and at times quite bad (performances, costumes, single choices, etc). She really lost that cool factor she owned during her 2009/2010 heyday.
A lot of people dislike her but I genuinely believe she has something different to offer while still being very much a commercial pop star. She just needs to harness her creativity because more often than not its scattered and therefore easily misinterpreted.
She has a lot riding on this effort. The haters have grown in numbers and their knives are out and waiting, only time will tell.
