I dunno, I think he just thought that having Nelly and Justin on a Track would guarantee success. But the vid is so damn crap that I always change the channel when it plays... and the song just seems like something he threw together in an hour.

I think his album will flop and i'm kind of hoping it will. Trying to suck success from JT and NF wasn't fair. They have had great songs this past year which i know Timbaland wrote. But still he is starting to annoy me. He kept making those stupid sounds in Nelly Fs "Say It Right" and his added parts to What Goes Around just over does it.. Timbaland is over exposed right now.. He's featured on so many songs.. Just about everytime i turn on the radio something has him featured. Thats just my opinion!

EDIT: I do like Give It To Me... I like the Nelly Furtados parts..

I really wish they could re-shoot a new better video version, I know tha'd be awesome and help to promote the album!

Who do you think gave JT and NF their excess of success this year?
Was it not for Timba, those albums would be nowhere near the magnitude of success they are at now.

The video's bad, but the song is still huge at radio. The album will debut somewhere between 100,000 and 200,000.

Actually I started to get sick of the song after I saw the video. I used to love the song, but now...

That may be true.. He may have wrote the songs.. But it was the singers that made the songs a hit.

I think Nelly F. really needed Tim since her last album didn't fair so well and JT, I think he still would have done good as long as he stayed in this pop/r&b/hip-hop category.

Well of course he thought adding justin and nelly would garantee and it is paying off. The single is in the 60s at the moment, and that's just from the huge buildup on radio. He'll most likely release to iTunes a week or two before the album gets released, of course pushing it to maximum success. Since when does TRL matter when it comes to success. People like the song, they like Nelly & Justin, and they probably like them due to what Tim has done for them. This album will be huge. Yeah the video looks like they spent $.50 on it but who cares. Rihanna's single went top 10 no BB, top 5 on radio and she's not even releasing a video for it. Ya'll are getting way too dramatic.

Well he's a producer at the top of his game right now, of course people are gonna call him. And to be honest he hasn't been on anyone's songs besides Nelly, Justin, Omarion, and Bobby Valentino in the past 10 months so yeah. I actually like the sounds in SIR, they can get annoying but it's catchy if don't memorize the lyrics after the first few listens. And he doesn't say anything in WGA, CA until it gets to the second half. So he really hasn't been anywhere but producing both Nells and Justin's full albums and two other singles not including his own.

This will sadly flop...

No offense but Timbaland MADE FutureSex/LoveSounds!!..Period!!..if Timbo wasn't on it, Justin wouldn't be experiencing this kind of success..Same with Nelly F..End of story..

thing is that no one can deny (and i think few will) that timbo had a HUGE part in nelly´s and justina´s success! i love both albums, they´re both top 5 material when it comes to pop-albums 2006! and both knew that it would be for the best to let him really have artistic freedom with the songs, but still they´re good artists/singers/performers, and timbaland isn´t....and with this (and the somewhat boring "give it to me" with the horrid video) it seems like timbaland is becoming the resurrected narcissus himself.
i think that there will be some great stuff on the album, and far from simple outmapped pop or hiphop, we know that, but i don´t think the album will sell cray at all...but i dunno if it´ll flop, it really depends on how we´ll measure a flop for an album like this...

and this is why i don't share my opinion..
