Is "I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker" one of the worst songs ever?
I had never heard this song before, but I was introduced to it through the UK #1s rate. Let's all be honest, and non delusional. It's horrible. But how horrible is it? Is this horribly self indulgent and mopey pandering song one of the worst ever, or just simply bad?

I don't know if you don't understand the song or you're just being ignorant. The message here is that the world has been taken over by technology and new ways that she isn't used to. She wishes it was like back 30 years ago when people cared about things more and there was a more ambiguous view of the world. She doesn't wish she literally had flowers in her hair. The punk rocker is a metaphor of how society has changed. I don't think you are old enough to be using the internet babes xo

It's for people with nostalgia. I wish I lived in 80s, not in a computer age. This song fits my wishes perfectly despite being about a different decade.
