"Blackout" is musically a superior album than "Circus" ... but only 3 or 4 tracks are really Britney related ... the rest of the album is compsed just of songs about sex, clubs and dancing.
"Circus" IMO was not very innovative .... and I hate "Kill the lights" LOL .... but the overall album is slightly a bit more personal than "Blackout".
IMO
"Circus" (song) , reflects a lot of Britney
"Out from under" makes sense, I mean there's a reason why she really wanted to include this song that was recorded by another girl, obviously she feels related to the song, and this makes the inclusion of the song sincere and organic.
"Kill the lights" deals with her constant paparazzi battle (the song sucks) but Yep is related to Britney after all.
"If u seek amy" is like Britney , society and perceptions, totally Britney related.
"Blur" this song totally fits with Britney's previous and chaotic lifestyle.
"My baby" a song about her kids, kind of cheesy, but I know the intention of the song was sincere.
So at least 6 tracks on the album no matter if they are good musically, are really related to Britney's experiences and persona.
now lets see Blackout....
"Gimme More" A song about the media attention
"Piece of me" , a brilliant statement track, its like her own "Human nature"
"Toy soldier" this is made to diss all of her previous boyfriends, so is related to brit
"Why should I be sad?" a great track about Kevin Ferderline
4 tracks on the album are personal .... the other ones are just songs about club, sex, dating , etc
"Blackout" is her best album .... but "Circus" is slightly more personal.
And what was Britney doing? Clubbing, ****ing and probably doing so much weed Wiz Khalifa would gasp. You also have "Heaven On Earth," Britney's a girl who wants to be in love. Blackout is Britney's life for an entire period of time that most fans still don't get/understand. She isn't named executive producer for nothing. And then you have the demos that depict even deeper how personally connected to it.
It's also telling that The Circus Tour: Starring Britney Spears had six Blackout songs and five In The Zone tracks, while she paid Circus dust with just the fabulous singles. I don't know, I believe Britney on this one over you, sistren.
So..over the last couple days I've been working on the 2012 ATRL Britney Army Awards. So look out for that very soon. Also, a1016neo and I will hopefully get someone to make some X-Factor/September (ney) uniforms for everyone to commemorate our festive month of September. So stay tuned.
Also this is your last chance to PM me if anyone wants to help out with the official ATRL Britney Army Twitter account. Just PM me with your time zone.

With September approaching Britney stans here need to stick together and be up-to-date on the latest news. Starting next month Britney will have the most exposure since 2003/2004.
Gui, Evan, Foxay, and I have the password to the account. I think there should be two more people in charge of the account. Your job will be tweeting the latest Britney news. This will be extremely helpful with all the upcoming news and events happening next month, especially if ATRL suffers another server crash. PM me (with your timezone) if you are interested; I will also collaborate with Foxay on the decision. Your timezone, dedication, and membership seniority on ATRL will be considered. A few stans have already showed their interest to me.
Britney needs make up that fits her eye type, which is almond shaped.
The first thing she needs to fix before anything else ... is her Hair ... she needs to invest thousands and thousands in her hair, and hire a better hairstylist. . . that is like her first priority right now (looks-wise).

I know Britney was clubbing during that time... I think the songs that reflects her clubbing experience better are "Freakshow" and "Get naked"
but there are other songs on the album like "Radar", "Break the ice" , "Perfect lover", "Heaven on earth" etc .. that are amazing songs because "Blackout" is flaw-free , but IMO lyrically are not personal at all.
I feel like you are not understanding me very well .... I'm not praising "Circus" at all ... I think "Blackout" is her best album even better than "In the zone" ...... I just think "Circus" is a bit more personal than "Blackout" which doesn't mean is better , thats all

Oh no, I wouldn't argue about which is better cause it is self-explanatory and would be a waste of time. I understand completely, I'm just not agreeing. A lot of Blackout songs might not be personally lyrical on the surface, but they expressed her life at the time and it's what she wanted to express. They are straight to the point like her lyrics have always been. It's similar to how she first began clubbing and being more "adult" that inspired tracks on In The Zone. "Me Against The Music" or "Early Mornin'" are just club songs, but she had a strong feeling for them. You can just hear the connection, at least I can in the album. While there is a distance and calculation about Circus, in majority of the tracks.
But to not begin repeating ourselves, we agree to disagree here.

Well I guess . . .
and BTW I think her clubbing experience was reflected perfectly on "Early Mornin" , a perfect Britney Spears song, that fits with Britney Spears.
It is awful, it doesn't flatter her skin at all and makes her look like someone in their 40s, it's like they WANT her to look bad and old. It sucks because Britney's naturally beautiful and with her good makeup goes a LONG way.
This:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
THAT mess.
The difference is unbelievable.
I also agree with Dinorel that she needs to fix her hair as well but let's focus on the makeup first.

FF era was the fashion pits, but it definitely had its bright moments.
