What he says is correct though. The X Factor UK has developed a lot more unique and noteworthy stars than what Idol and all the other American talent shows together have discovered together.
I though US version was great last year. Just look at the 2 talented girls Rachel and Drew. I didn't want Melanie to win it. She is very talented though.

The only reason last year was so dull was because the contestents were all intimidated by how talented Nicole Scherzinger is. Things should be better this year with Britney on the panel.
