STEVIE Nicks rates the notorious Madonna-Britney kiss as the most obnoxious television moment ever.

"And Britney should be smarter than that. Hopefully, she will figure a way out of this hole she has dug for herself."
Original rock chick Nicks, 55, said Spears and Christina Aguilera should wear more clothes and try writing decent songs.
"I personally have never been to a strip club, but I turn on MTV and see in every single video what it must be like to be at a strip club," Nicks said.
"I think the mystery is gone, and if you have no mystery, then you aren't even sexy.
"Real sexuality and sensuality is in the music, and all these girls, vis-a-vis, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and on and on, should go back to writing songs and start over because it won't last and they won't last.
"When they are 55, they won't be around and that's sad because I think a lot of those girls are very talented. But they are signing their own death warrants."
Nicks was appalled by Madonna's publicity stunt kiss with Spears at the recent MTV Awards.
"I thought it was the most obnoxious moment in television history," she said.
"Madonna will be fine. Madonna is Madonna. She does what she wants. She will get over this. But will Britney get over it? I don't know."
Nicks revealed Madonna asked Jennifer Lopez to be in the smoochy routine, but J.Lo told Madge to kiss something else.

She wasn't relevant what weed are you smoking? A few months prior she hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 which stayed atop for a month, her album went 2x Platinum, she had another Top 5 hit single, a Top 40 hit single, and her most recent film at the time, "Maid In Manhattan", had hit #1 on the Box Office.
Not too mention she WAS the headlines in those days with the whole Bennifer fiasco. #SITYOASSDOWN

I think she was relevant of course ... but in music she was not at the relevance level of Britney or even Xtina.
J.Lo was more of a tabloid girl , and mostly because of her relationships with men 
and BTW that Bennifer fiasco really hurt her career.

In 2001-2003, Jennifer Lopez had had more #1 hits on the Hot 100 than Britney and Christina COMBINED.

Do you actually think that J.Lo was superior in music than Britney or even Xtina in 2001-2003?
These girls were selling millions of albums, having multiple #1s on the worldwide charts, receiving Grammy nominations and doing successfull tours.
I remember Xtina released "Stripped" in similar time of "This is me..then"...... Stripped sold
10M copies and J.Lo's struggled to sell 5M.
Britney and Christina sold more .... Britney has always sold more than J.Lo even nowadays ...

I never said J.Lo was irrelevant in music .... I admitted and said she was relevant in music but I said her relevance in "MUSIC" was not at the level of Britney's or even Xtina's ... which is actually truth.

But Jennifer also sold millions of albums, had multiple US & worldwide number ones, recieved Grammy nominations, etc., and she did not have the need to do one tour. 
Britney may have sold more albums, but Jen had and still has more top charting singles, and she was a force to be reckoned with as well internationally. And that was just her music career alone.
