They are becoming less relevant, but they'll never disappear. Real artists put a lot of work into making the booklet actually be apart of the album. Real fans buy the physical copies... SO, hopefully they'll stay relevant forever.
They will be eventually fade out but not totally, major artists will still release physical album but I see many artists specially newcomers releasing music only via iTunes or other websites.
