Although Super Mario Bros. might not bring in a lot of people like how it used to be. SSB will definitely do the job.

Naw. All of the companies lose money from their consoles every year but M$ will ALWAYS have Windows to fall back on for profits. None of the other companies have a brand that big. Microsoft is on a slight decline now though. WP7 is supposed to invigorate that. I can almost bet the next Xbox will be powered at least 70% by W8 though. They're gonna shove W8 down ppl's throats. I dont see this Wii U recreating the same phenomenon that they had with the Wii. Especially when people realize that they don't even really use their own Wii now and it's gathering dust in the corners.

Wii isn't selling because they are not releasing good title for it anymore. Wii U will attract people with its line-up.

But i think we both can agree about Sony being the first one to die, there is no way out.

I'm not talking about the Wii not selling anymore. I'm talking about the Wii not being used in people's homes anymore. I wouldn't call it a fad but it is true that people don't use their Wiis as much anymore.

But why would they care if people still playing their consoles or not as long as it's the 2nd best selling console ever? They still outsold the competition this gen with a "fad" console

Gyal, I never called it a fad. Read what I said again. ALL I'm saying is that adoption for the Wii U will be a lot slower than the first Wii because people realized they dont use their first one so there won't be some rush to go out and get one. Sales clearly won't match it either. This is a Wii U thread not a Wii reminisce and live past glories thread.
