I'm not pressed I congratulated Adele several times, the bad thing is that other stans from other artists come to this thread to take an advantage of the situation and shade GaGa, like if Adele didn't outsold their faves too

Gaga left a bitter taste in everyone's mouth from the under performance of Marry The Night. She may have some hype (which every main pop girl has), but it's nowhere near the levels of TF(M). And you're derailing the thread from the true star of the moment, ADELE.

Britney's sales in 1998/1999 weren't the rule, they were an exception...that's why her closest peers didn't do half of the sales she did.

Not to mention, she sold TWO 20 million selling albums back to back! One of which opened with 1 Million plus, she kept her momentum, will Adele? And as we have seen, that was also an exception..not the rule, as Taylor and GaGa both have done that today.

People like to discredit Britney no matter what.
She used to be FVCKING HUGE. And even now her fandom is still one of the biggest in the Pop scene.

And Lady Gaga needed to pretend to be a hermaphrodite, dress up as Kermit the Frog, and have her record label remove Flo Rida/Ke$ha's Right Round from iTunes to get to #1. All Adele had to do is sit down. Even in her music video she just sat down the whole time. So effortless. Just incredible!!!
