EH is going to have cost 679 and Atlantic a fortune and clearly Marina is going to struggle to make the sales to to cover both EH and TFJ. Whichever way you look at it Marina is in a difficult position and will be at serious risk of losing her record contract.

According to Marina's own record company, TFJ sold more than 300,000 copies. That must be world-wide sales, so it doesn't mean that Marina went Platinum in the UK, but it's a perfectly respectable amount.
When all is said and done, Electra Heart will probably have similar sales, unless she ends up with a huge hit for one of her upcoming singles.
In any case, I can't imagine that Marina will be dropped by her record label. Have you been to one of her concerts? Her fanbase is completely and utterly rabid, and her US tour was completely sold out. Record companies like to see that sort of thing, because it means that even if the current album isn't making them tons of money, they know that it means the next one might. Many very successful artists have not hit it big until they already had several albums out. David Bowie, for example.
