Are you kidding? The people who blindly believe he truly supports gay marriage and the people that will vote for him simply for pretending in hopes he'll have it legalized likely far outnumber anyone who decided not to vote for him over the issue.

Getting a republican president who supports gay rights wouldn't even be half the battle. You'd need to have republicans who support gay marriage in congress and in house as well.

Which will never happen. Religion is TOO ingrained in our politics to ever change anytime soon.

I believe that equality is a bigger issue and is more important than the economy anyway. The economy is only more important when it gets to a stage where it's causing dire social problems, in my opinion.
