"Bodysnatchers" is the first (promo) single from In Rainbows. It was released alongside "House of Cards" (which fared better in this rate), and was their highest charting song on the Modern Rock Tracks chart since "Creep." "Bodysnatchers" is much more rock influenced than most of the tracks Radiohead made in the last decade, taking influence from Wolf Mother and Neu!, unlike Aphex Twin. Thom Yorke wrote that the song was inspired by Victorian Ghost stories.

I really like this song. I feel like it was a really nice switch of pace for Radiohead at that point in time, and it was a return to their roots while still being fresh and interesting. I think it was a perfect way to please some fans they had lost over the last few years. 9.7

Well, now two of the three Hail to the Thief singles are out now. "2 + 2 = 5", also titled "The Lukewarm" was a moderate success on the UK Charts. The song reference George Orwell's critically acclaimed book, 1984. Thom Yorke claims the song also references the work of Dante.

Well here's another elimination I'm mad about. This my favorite Radiohead track as a young teenager (well, second favorite), and while it's not my 2nd favorite anymore, it's still great. The lyrics are great "they're coming to get you!" lyrics without being desperate. It has some of Thom's most commanding and intense vocals too. 9.6

Well, it's here. "Creep" is Radiohead's signature song, their most successful song, and their most popular song. It's ironic that, their most popular song is the antithesis of the band they have become. That can explain it's generally poor performance on this rate. While Pop classic, this song has gotten a lot of hatred from Radiohed's fanbase, and Radiohead themselves. Many have accused as a song for non-fans only. It however was their only song to reach the top 10 of the billboard 100, and still has garnered critical acclaim.

Now I'm not sure we should have been this mean to poor old "Creep." Sure, it would have been lame in the top 10, but top 20 would have been nice. I have a hard time giving it a good or bad score. I think more than a 7 would have been nice, especially considering its performance, but ohwell, what can you do? I definitely don't think it's one of their best songs and they've topped it many times. 6.3
