The Paralympics literally get less then half the coverage the Olympics gets. I find that very disapointing. These athletes deserve just as much of the spotlight.
They deserve more attention than the normal athletes tbh
I mean, why are they classed as "heroes" and these people are shunned aside? These athletes had to struggle through their disabilities to get where they are now.
I wonder how many condoms the Paralympic athletes go through
We have this Lebanese athlete that won 2 Bronze in a row.
The only person that congratulated him in 2008 is the Lebanese ambassador to China
The only people that funded him now is the Lebanese embassy in the UK
I'm actually interested to watch some of these events, especially after the attention that Oscar Pistorius garnered earlier this summer. It's too bad there's almost no coverage in the U.S.
