Like someone else said, he's a person you can't help having respect for. He's had a tremendous impact on the music scene.

However, I'm not a fan of his voice or his music at all, but that's just my taste.

How is it even possible to sing like that at 11 or 12 or whatever

^^^ that's one of my fav vids of MJ. As stated above it clearly shows why he became what he became. I think people forget that his voice started it all.

He's my favorite singer.

I just don't get how one person can be so talented. He was literally born to be an entertainer. It was in his blood. Ugh.

NO ONE in popular music is a sacred cow. If The Beatles, Prince, Elvis, Britney, Gaga, Mariah, Whitney, Beyoncé, Madonna, etc and so forth can be "disrespected" here - why can't MJ?

This is a baseless thread. People have told you the reasons for this "disrespect" (It's in quotes because it doesn't exist here) and you still aren't letting it seep in.

People say he's overrated sometimes, but I don't think there's any real disrespect. He's a legend, obviously, but he wasn't perfect (no legends are) and they can all be criticized.

I agree with everything Ace Reject said, why do some negative posts about MJ which don't happen very often bother you that much?

First, don't come at me with the bullsh*t. The only post I have replied to were ones that stated he isnt disrespected on here, that just because he isnt talked about doesnt mean hes disrespected, or where they added on to what my point is. So I dont see how im not letting something 'seep in', when I haven't really said 'yeh' or 'neh' for you to form that opinion.

Also where did I say he was to go without critism? No one can say anything bad about him, etc???? I even stated that he isn't the only artist I felt this way about.

It's mostly Dustbin Beaver stans that I see directing shade to the greatest pop star that ever lived. Most of them are under the age of 15 and have no idea of the legacy that preceded their lesbian fave.
