It has something to do with her coming out of nowhere and absolutely slaying everything. Not trying to shade, but after Gaga came along, Britney, Xtina, and Madonna all had hugely underperforming albums and those stanbases are the main ones who hate her. It's insecurity over anything else.

I get the monsters can be overwhelming sometimes (especially on Twitter) but it actually doesn't make ANY real sense to dislike an artist at all because of their fans. They are separate things believe it or not.
Bringing up the "Stanbase" argument makes YOU look weak, so stop shading yourself. Every single artist has an insufferable stanbase and that should not change how YOU feel about that artist. If you can't seperate the two entities, you are weak-minded.
I wouldn't mind her at all really if the stanbase wasn't so insane. And I know other people feel the same way tbh.
What does her fanbase have to do with her or her music though? I mean let's be honest, Britney's had some crazies too. Exhale is a mess, and her music is NOT a reflection of that at all. That seems like an excuse just to pick on her imo.
