The " Queen of Latin Pop" rocked the stage at the H2O Music Festival yesterday. Here are some of the pics from her performance.

Well she isn't. Shakira, Gloria Estefan are bigger worldwide, Yuri has more attendance in Mexico concert-wise than Paulina, Thalia's last album has sold more than any of Paulina's albums, and I could keep listing...
Even Belinda is a strong contender.
So you can choose, but definitely not Paulina, just because she has tried to make a crossover doesn't mean much, especially since she hasn't done it successfully yet and will probably never make it because of her age

I agree that Shakira and Gloria are bigger worldwide but I'm not sure if the Latin public would consider them as "Queens of Latin Pop." After all, it's not me who's calling Paulina that, it's the Latin media, Billboard, MTV and many others. Paulina stayed loyal to Spanish music so perhaps that's why she's recognized as the Queen of Latin Pop, unlike Shakira who kept making English-language songs so she can stay internationally relevant. Paulina could've continued making English music, especially that Border Girl, her first crossover, wasn't that much of a flop, it had some success indeed. The problem is her MESSY team. She had some AMAZING songs in English on her most recent album, Brava!, that were produced by RedOne and had the potential to be worldwide hits as much as On The Floor and Dance Again, but her stupid team wasted them. Not to mention the lack of promotion and Paulina's legal problems. :/

But MTV is the least reliable source, they say whatever they want when they want.
The Latin media calls queen everyone that releases a song, they called Fey the Latin Pop queen on TV yesterday.
Billboard is the only reliable source, but they don't call Paulina the queen of Latin pop, they call her a Latin diva.
Paulina is not as big as before (like 2003, 2004).
And she looks good in those pictures.

Paulina's only big era was the album Paulina which had 'Lo hare por ti', Paulatina was also successful but to a lower extent and then it all went downhill from there

Who cares if she didn't become international as long as she kept getting #1s in LA with her Spanish music? Gurl is and has always been la reina latina.

I have to agree. Her label, Universal, started **** with Paulina when the Ananda era started. And now, no promo, nothing and Brava!, one of her best albums, has become a flop because of THEM.
