The whole FF XIII series either need to be terminated or receive a whole makeover in the combat system and add more content like side-quests and mini-games.

XIII-2 has all that. Don't even talk when you know nothing about XIII-2. My only complaint of that game was teh explorations were kept in minimum.

Ffff, I played XIII-2 and the combat system was still a big mess. I didn't even finish the game because it was so monotone. I agree with you on exploring, it felt like watching a movie at times.
