Didn't "Feel So Close" also come really close to getting into the Top 10? Artists should really stop putting the word "close" in their song titles...

Considering - most likely - Adam is that "friend of my ex" Taylor said on ABC stepping in the studio while she was with Max Martin (who is the one producer supervising back then the creation of Overexposed too) and giving her the hint/reason for creating her monster song, I find hilarious M5 could be forever blocked by something they indirectly helped to create... :lol:

I think Imagine Dragons is more likely though, since they're nominated in a voting category. Little Talks is nominated in a professional one.

"Pound the Alarm" is slow in sales and radio airplay. I guess a lot of people can't distinguish b/w that and "Starships"...

Pop isn't playing either of them. The only song they've paid a lick of attention to is "Tongue Tied" by Grouplove.

With Starships being so overplayed the past 6 months, it wasn't a good idea to release another song so similar to it tbh.
