Where did Payphone peak on the Hot 100? And their album? I'm so pleased One More Night is smashing.

Payphone peaked at number 2 on the Hot 100; stayed only in between #2or3 for its whole first 13 weeks of charting (if I remember correctly), then slid to the 5th position until 17th week, and now it will slid even more as the superior song which is the follow-up single is climbing up.
Overexposed is gonna get gold THIS incoming charting week, as it has sold only a couple thousands short of 500.000 by this past week of charting, and it seems that it will still sell in top ten in this new incoming chart too (It has sold over 1 M worldwide already, too), and this comes from ChartNews so it's pretty reliable (and makes me SO happy, as I always believed in the goodness of that album, and OMN too)

.
One More Night is doing amazingly and ALL of this is happening without Maroon 5 promoting anything at all (and they won't be able to promote for a long while more, as they are touring now in Central /South America until the start of September, and then the whole of September /start of October they go to Asia /Oceania, so they won't be able to take advantage from The Voice broadcasts directly.
I guess the next single (Daylight) will get the promotion One More Night won't (and which is needed, because that is a way weaker song than OMN is. I can't wait for Lucky strike to be the 4th singel to be honest

).
I am not that confident OMN either can reach any higher than #2 on BBHot100, but still, I can't see why I shouldn't be happy with another #2 peak, which it could get without much trouble instead.
