It's probably best to be born right about now, or maybe in about 5 years' time. You get to skip the technological curve which will undoubtedly make life much easier. Anyone born before the 90's is at a big disadvantage already in terms of their capability to adapt to what life will be like in 20+ years :/
20's or 40's. They were such romantic times. But since you either think those are lame or something, or you forgot they existed, I say 60's. Or now, because really, you get to enjoy all the best of the decades compiled and you still get the technology. The only thing is the experiences. Like, I would love to be in a protest in the 60's. But being born in 1996 prevents me from doing that. But I still get to talk about how George Harrison's my favourite Beatle while The Great Gatsby really capture the romanticism of olden days.

40's? Really? Global War does sound so romantic...
Any decade closest to our own - you have more confort and security today than anyone previously. I think people here have forgotten things like the draft or the Cold War.

Maybe they don't want safety, and would want to experience that?
