“Pop is Dead” is the first song eliminated. It was a non-album single released a couple months after “Creep.” It reached #42 on the singles chart.

There’s nothing much to say about “Pop is Dead.” It sort of seems like a typical alternative Rock/Grunge song of the early 1990s. It really has not aged as well, and many of the voters probably questioned if its existence was necessary. I myself didn’t loathe the song, but it bored me, and was uninteresting. 4.5

“The Butcher” was part of the double A-Side Supercollider/The Butcher. According to Radiohead, “The Butcher” was made in the sessions for The King of Limbs, however they felt it did not fit the album, and therefore they did not include it.

I personally enjoyed “The Butcher,” however did not think it as one of their most impressive Electronic Rock songs. It is enjoyable, yet somewhat forgettable, even compared to the disappointing The King of Limbs. 7.6

“Anyone Can Play Guitar” is the second single released from Pablo Honey. Like “Creep,” It was a Grunge/Alternative Rock song in the vein of more popular bands like Nirvana. It failed to make an impression on any charts, however the band did include it in almost all their live sets in the 1990s.

I’m a bit saddened by this song’s placement. It’s nothing new or revelatory, but it is definitely my favorite Pablo Honey single, and it has a feeling of longing and sentimentality that I adore. 8
