UK is always that way. And the label decide the premiere. It's only premiered about a month and a week before release. That's standard. 1D did the same, as did Little Mix and Alexandra too. I mean she premiered in january (at a live gig) and it wasn't out till March A mix of the UK and US charts in terms of preorder and premieres would be better imo. Also she's doing a big radio tour and tv promo too. It's to get people to know she's back and buy GH.
Some of the bigger ones are getting away from it though... it's just so old fashioned and makes everything so boring and unexciting.
It only works if radio is here immediately. In her case not so much. She needs to be global to have the big instant itunes WW release. Even Bieber didn't put Boyfriend out here straight and WW got it.
I'm ready for every reviewer who mentioned anything remotely along the lines of "Emeli could've sang it better" to get down on their knees and beg for forgiveness.
