i hate wayne's **** now. he truly sucks, he's undoubtly doubt the most overrated rapper of all time.

anyway no. at this point wayne has been rapping for like 15+ years and in the public eye for around half that time. he's released several multi-platinum albums, had a string of successful tracks, a significant influence on the genre (whether we like it or not) and he's given other rappers the chance to taste success for themselves. i think he's kinda outgrown music now, he's accomplished all there is to accomplish as a hip-hop artist and now he's become complacent, disinterested and lazy. his past 3/4 albums have been straight garbage and anyone who paid for a copy of any of them should be embarrassed.

but ya anyway tl;dr - he fell off years ago and i don't think he has any interest in reclaiming the throne

Yeah, he will. People always count him out and he always sells boatloads after with music that must appeal to someone if it's selling.

I don't even like him (at all), and I realize he's so established in rap that he'll have time to reinvent his music. I feel like I've heard him on the radio my entire life. Lately, yeah the quality has been meh (not that I like rap), but it's silly to suggest he doesn't have the ability to build back some acclaim.

again: selling 'boatloads' has nothing to do with what we're talking about. his record sales have been incredibly impressive for years now so that isn't even an issue

Lets see... his last two mixtapes slayed lives "No Ceilings" & "Sorry 4 The Wait", his last studio album opened with almost sales of one million copies sold (960K+), and not to mention he has some of the best guest verses this year.

He hasn't fallen but he's definitely not the same ... But he ALWAYS gets at least 3-4 hit singles per year nonetheless ! He'll be back in Carter V

He just needs to take a break! A year or so will do him wonders. That also includes no featurings!

He needs to allow people to miss his music again. His music recently has been medicore [although he's still a fave of mine], but like someone else said I'll be here for another "Carter 3", but first he needs to take a breather, do ya boarding thing, and at the same time get it together and jot dwn sum real life experiences.
