Looks basic and unremarkable. The previous version was already simple enough, but it still had some creativity. Four colored squares with nothing else going is something any 4-year-old could do. It's no longer unique. What's with all these companies dumbing down their logos lately?
And if that's what the user interface for Windows 8 will look like, then I'll be sticking to 7 until it's no longer supported. The new one looks more like an OS for mobile devices.
