By ALL means I was genuinely asking for a YOUTUBE/Tumblr/Souncloud link. Not an MP3 link. Not to mention DOZENS of people in the thread were asking to people to PM them the file, and they didn't get warned? Seriously...
It's not getting reversed, just like the 30 other warnings that were given for file share requests
That's ridiculous. I've been a member for over two years, I'm aware of the file share request rules. I wasn't planning on blatantly asking for an MP3 link if I know I would rack up two warning points. I seriously was genuinely asking for a streaming link to listen to the song.

I know, but we were asked to be extremely strict when it comes to file sharing. Just say streaming link or youtube link or something like that in the future.

What's the point of warning dozens of those posts when they're still there? Might as well delete them just to be safe from any government lurkers or whatever.

It's not like the file share request is breaking any laws. We didn't make the policy, we only enforce it.
It's a music forum. What do you expect when a new highly anticipated single leaks? People to sit and wait for it to be released on iTunes?
