Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are paid to act on-screen.
But no amount of money will allow them to pretend like the explosive cheating scandal that's rocked their relationship isn't happening in real life.
The "Twilight" co-stars and former lovers, along with co-star Taylor Lautner, have opted to pull out of their duties at the final four upcoming "Twilight" conventions, E! News reports. Twihards in San Antonio, Texas, Detroit, Parsippany, N.J., and Los Angeles will have to revel in the experience without the franchise's three primary actors, according to the site.
"The passion and dedication of 'Twilight' fandom has been amazing and we're out to throw one last giant convention, a final gathering to see old friends that have made up the 'Twilight' family," Creation Entertainment told Zap2it.com.
"Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super lineup of other 'Twilight' stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!"
Stewart, 22, rocked the "Twilight" fan base in July when she stepped forward to apologize for having a "momentary indiscretion" with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.
She has not been spotted in public since.
Her former beau, 26-year-old Pattinson, has sat down for several interviews to promote his new film "Cosmopolis" since, but has largely steered clear of any talk about his relationship with Stewart.
