I think it'll grow on me... I didn't like Hips Don't Lie or Deja Vu at first... but they do sound very good together

Shakira has a strong voice, thats her trademark, they both contribute to the song....

I think Shakira does a great job in the song, and there's no reason to say either outsings the other because I would say they played an equal part
