I don't agree with that. I thought both songs were horrible. And then . . . there was that performance at the Grammy's. I think at that point, people were just scared. It just been a messy era. I think she can turn it around though for the next LP. I completely agree with what you were saying earlier. She can service two singles to radio simultaneously and cater to two different bases if both singles are strong.

Roman In Moscow is a bop. And it fits the Roman persona. And the Grammy performance would've been miles better if she knew how to perform/dance.
I think she's achieved her goal with this era. If she can manage to scan a million copies and let the obvious singles smash then she has done enough with this era. If she hadn't done this and went the Pink Friday route again then people would've gotten tired of her.
Regardless of her kinda losing most of her urban fanbase, this type of era was much needed. Now she has a reason for people to want to hear her third album.
