Raps Songs is a chart based on the A.I. from Urban and Rhythmic radio. A song is considered rap if the verses are rap, which PTA's verses are(as well as GME, PRA, etc.)...all of which will have or had huge Rhythmic airplay. That's also why the never make it to the top because they lack urban airplay.

Rap isn't a GENRE. It's a vocal style. PTA contains Rapping. Therefore it's a rap song. I think you might be mistaking Rap for Hip-Hop.

Pound the Alarm is a rap song, but not a hip hop song. So it's eligible for this chart.

You can also get hip hop songs that don't have rapping in (like in some of Beyonce's songs she uses hip hop beats but she sings over them).

Rap Songs (BB) = Urban / Rhythmic (Mediabase) ???
