The hate for her still stems from her time on The X Factor. She was well liked at the start, but after she didn't sing at judges homes and still got through to the live shows the public turned against her. Although the hate for her was never as strong as it was for Katie Waissel (poor thing) it was strong and it was thought that better singers were going home instead of her and people found her personality to be very arrogant even if she isn't like that anymore. Then most people hated Swagger Jagger even though it went to #1 in the UK.

Cher has a personality, is ballsy and speaks her mind. people hate that ****. Also it's England. We are a mess. You have to be bland to not be hated. I feel for her.
This is sad and so immature. The girl should just stay in the US. She's doing really well and I'm sure she'll have a few more hit singles. I don't understand the massive hate the UK has for her.
a concert I went to I got covered in piss and ****ty cheap beer, it sucks. I mean it's bad enough when people throw it around in the crowds but to throw it at the performer is kinda ****ty but oh well, it's not really a big deal.
