I'll listen to all music, but I'm very picky about what I buy/download. I'm not really into much screamo or heavy metal. I like some rap & country, but I'm not too crazy about it.
No way! Life's a lot more boring that way. I like music too much to be close-minded about music. I love getting requests to listen to songs/albums that other people like. Pretty much all of my friends are musically-close minded and it's really annoying but what can you do?
Even with genres that I don't like too much I'm fine listening to what I'm recommended. I used to not care for any hip-hop/rap but now I like the good music in that genre. I pretty much can't get into any country music, though. Or literally the hardcore screamo.
I won't listen to anything outside of pop, dance/electronic, country-pop, and alternative rock (meaning Evanescence and similar), but that's because I just dislike it and every time I've tried to listen to things like that I've still disliked it, so there's no point to try more.
A little bit. I only really listen to Pop and some R&B. AndI only listen to Meisa Kuroki in J-Pop unless it's Utada's English stuff. I'm. A lil bit more involved in K-Pop. I listen to Big Bang (mainly the singles sans TaeYang's solo stuff and Alive) and 2NE1, Se7en's Digital Bounce CD, Boa's english CD and Hurricane Venus .
Little bit.
I'm kinda stubborn on what I listen to and I try to stay within that little realm.
Not as far as like genre or anything, I listen to a bunch of genres, it's just the artists that I'm stubborn about.
I used to be close-minded but in the past year or so I've expanded my music taste dramatically and now I'm open to listening to anything, no matter who it's by. I'll atleast give the artist a chance.
I like to think I'm open-minded. There are some artist who for the most part are terrible all the time but I always give them a chance even if their previous work has been disappointing. I also listen to music from all genres, decades and multiple languages.
From early classical music to Glenn Miller to Elvis Presley to Aretha Franklin to The Beatles to Michael Jackson to Stevie Wonder to Whitney Houston to Prince to Mariah Carey to Bjork to Elisa to Jay-Z to Katy Perry to Rihanna..
But when I come across artists like Justin Bieber I'm kinda twisted..he's just a cocky and arrogant adolescent..his music is ok..but I dislike him a lot..he doesn't have my full respect..but I must admit I have "One Time", "Overboard" and some of his christmas songs on my iTunes..so..
