Speaking as the nine-day trial concluded, band member Tolokonikovoy had said: "This is a trial of the whole government system of Russia, which so likes to show its harshness toward the individual, its indifference to his honour and dignity… If this political system throws itself against three girls… it shows this political system is afraid of truth."
Although they shouldn't have done this in a church, their sentence is extremely harsh nonetheless.
Watch this video and tell me if you seriously think thats "voicing opinions". They would get arrested for that in ANY part of the world. the only difference is the punishment they'd get. sure they probably wouldn't get jailtime in the US but every country has different rules and laws when it comes to religion. If they did that in a muslim country they would stay in jail for their whole lives
Great video!
I don't think they did anything wrong.
Things are getting worse and worse in Russia.

While what they did is very abrasive, just because other countries would put you in jail for the same act doesn't make it right. Who are they hurting? People take things way too seriously if something that doesn't really affect anyone, doesn't harm anyone, doesn't cause anyone any loss of money, gets imprisonment. If anything they should have been ejected and given a large fine.
]So people still get arrested because they offended other people's imaginary friend?[/SIZE] Damn
Oh my god, well said my friend! Believe in your god ya'll but don't **** with me when I say that I don't give a **** about capital H-I-M. It's called opinions! (Even though I wouldn't scream It into a microphone while standing in a church BUT that's another story and more about politics than anything else...)
the guy who threw a candle at the queen of the netherlands spent 22 months in jail, I guess we live in a dictatorship aswell right? these people need to get over themselves, those girls went full retard at that church.
oh and what the news doesn't cover is how they organized an orgy in a public museum, proper social activists we have right here
